Like a living museum among the Fiskeläge on Gotland – Ireviken Fiskeläge
For the Ireviken Fiskeläge one finds sometimes also the spelling “Ihrviken Fiskeläge”, meaning the same place. No matter how, Ireviken Fiskeläge is one of the original preserved Fiskeläge on Gotland. The Ireviken Fiskeläge lies at the foot of a high cliff, which always hikers on the path along the coast to discover the Kustleden.
Ireviken Fiskeläge is one of Gotland’s little treasury halls, its buildings are more reminiscent of an open-air museum, but that does not make them any less appealing. A narrow path separates the few huts from the slipways of the boats, which slide steeply into the water from here.
Typical for the region around the bay of the Ireviken Fiskeläge are the high gravel beaches, which invite you to undisturbed swimming, but can also be wonderfully wandered. But also one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on Gotland is near the bay. So it is no wonder that in the immediate vicinity about 200 cottages are distributed, they blend in well with the landscape.
A little further to the north is the beach Sigsarve with the largest nature reserve on Gotland, the Hall Hangvars nature reserve. This alone has 25 km of coastline.
In order to reflect the mood and the historical context, we exposed the pictures analogously with the Leica M 2.8 28 asph on Kodak Tri X.
