MUSEUM SHIP YARD FLENSBURG + LEICA SL 2.0 75MM
A portrait of the Flensburg museum shipyard with a Leica SL 2.0 75mm
We are guests at the Flensburg museum shipyard and capture some impressions on our tour. We use the Leica SL Summicron APO 2.0 75mm asph for this. If you master this lens, you get wonderful close-ups with an extraordinary impression.
The museum shipyard in Flensburg is a non-profit organization that combines the training of young people without a chance with the preservation and reconstruction of maritime cultural assets.
You can feel the old wood, the sails, the rusty metal that the wind and waves of the north have experienced and that it becomes more beautiful with increasing quirkiness.
But the Museumswerft Flensburg is a highly professional shipyard that uses historical tools to reconstruct or restore historical ships.
There are many tools that you would like to have yourself as a decorative object. But in the Museumswerft Flensburg every decoration has its function.
The museum shipyard with its workshop areas is open to everyone. To look, to be amazed, to dream.
You should only keep your hands off the break bell. Unauthorized operation means cake for everyone.
But why not get active yourself and start small? So get to the workbench, use a saw, hammer and drill and build your first ship. So children and adults can feel what they see.
