Kodak Ektar – In the fine way

Lindesnes fyr, norge, Kodak Ektar, Leica Elmarit M 2.8 28 asph.

The Kodak Ektar 100 is regarded as the finest-grained film in its class and impresses with its warm-toned and quite strong colors and a quite balanced contrast behavior. Reason enough to take him on a journey into the midsummer Gotland with and portray this quaint Baltic island of Sweden with him.

In September 2008, the Kodak Ektar 100 was presented at the Photokina in Cologne and has since been used both for cinema productions and successfully in photography. It impresses with its own unique look, which differs noticeably from digital recordings.

The Kodak Ektar is perfect for summer heat, autumnal forest and cloudy weather. In each of these genres, he sensibly transports the atmosphere to the photo. Especially in diffused light, the colors get a restrained yet visible nuance of color.

And so it is no coincidence that the Kodak Ektar is predestined for landscape photography. Especially when it comes to a warm-toned expression.

With the 35 cm Kodak Ektar 100 film we have subtracted magnifications up to 40 × 60 cm, without even a grain approach would be recognizable.
